Bombshell

Painted lips that can never tell

Of the horrors that befell

The beautiful hollywood bombshell

 

Body slashed in half

Face carved in a permanent laugh

Lizzie is no longer fit to be photographed

 

In the middle of the field lay quite a sight

A pale body gleaming in the moonlight

As her murder disappeared into the dark night

 

The next day while on a walk

Mother and daughter received quite a shock

 

What was thought to be a life-size store dummy

Was a matter that wasn’t at all funny

 

Her killer forever a mystery

The tale of Elizabeth Short gone down in History

 

Elizabeth finally found fame

Even if it wasn’t due to acting acclaim

 

Painted lips that can never tell

Shopping Decay

Many people roamed around

Now there is no one to be found

 

Many said they felt at home

Now it sits all alone

 

During the time it was alive

The business there used to thrive

   

All that remains now is a shell

Some believe spirits dwell

 

No longer being shown affection

There is no chance for a resurrection

 

People will try to enter

This abandoned shopping center

 

Some will be met with resistance

The others however are granted admittance

 

Those who enter capture the scene

The water fountain that was once pristine

Now a grimy hue of green

The tiles once pure and clean

Now seem to lack their former sheen

 

There used to be hundreds of stores

Now all of them are no more

 

The food court used to house throngs of people

Now all that’s left is a few dead beetles

 

the explores bid this place adieu

They leave the mall that society outgrew

 

The next day would be the final

As the shopping mall sit idle

 

The bulldozers rattle the ground

With a few loud pounds

The shopping mall soon fell down

However there isn’t reason to frown

 

After the shopping mall is gone

Plans for another are being drawn

And this circle of events will carry on

Insanity and the Subconcious

Do you really want to see inside my mind

Its not the best place to wonder blind

 

I don’t know what you expect to gain

From the thoughts hidden in my brain

 

They  aren’t always pretty or nice you see

These things hidden inside of me

 

So as you see about my brain

It may very well drive you insane

never before known

ups and downs

bound to make you frown

limits and lengths

to test your strength

starting to feel numb

after this long run

a fact that I need to face

I am rather tired of this chase
